Monthly Me
Wednesday, May 30th, 2007It feels a bit vain to post about myself, but the Lord told me that it would be a good motivational thing for me to do in my efforts to get back in shape.
I know a lot of people are having to make adjustments to their health habits, and I am no exception. Staying healthy and fit is much more about lifestyle changes than diets, etc. That is what I am focusing on. My main weakness is sweets, which I have seriously cut back on,and I don’t miss it much, which is wonderful, TYJ! I have the added blessing of having to lose 30lb. Even though it’s not my favorite thing, I am excited about it and it’s a good challenge. PTL!
I read a book, well, a few pages of a book, called Chicken soup for the dieter’s soul, had some good tips which I am trying out. Each week I weigh and measure myself and write it down. Monthly I am taking pictures so I can clearly see the progress. And, just to make me accountable I will tell you my monthly progress.

As of right now I am 145lb, and I’m in a size nine. My goal is 115 and a size five. I’ll keep you posted.
