The Legend of Q-14!

There is an ancient legend which says. The gods, who knew how to “party hardy” and which lived atop mountain Q-14 looked down in pity upon man. Seeing their sorrowful state at how they thirst for the waters that would give them the joy and purpose in their existence.
The peoples of this land tried many different potions, looking for true satisfaction. They attempted to create their own mount Q-14, with their own concoctions, but in the end they realized that they had only done so in vain, for their mountain was as a heap of rubble and their thirst was not quenched.
And so the gods came down unto them, for to offer them the elixir of the gods, and to bring them to the mountain of true partyisim, but alas, they were rejected and scorned. And the mockery was as such, “Yeah, right, there is no party at Q-14! And furthermore, there is no heavenly elixir that will attain to the title of “the ultimate party beverage.”
And so for many nights the gods went out unto them, for to call them and to lead them to the mountain, (of course they never begged, because they were, after all THE GODS of party!)
Until one night, after having had failed in every one of their own attempts to save themselves and to have what only a child could call a party. The feeble mortals consented to being elevated to Q-14. There they did drink of the waters of the gods, and did enjoy themselves (Oh, just a tad too much!)
And after hours of intense parting (I would have to say 1 ½ - 2 [it’s how you party that counts, not how long.]) they descended saying one to another, “That really was the best darn party ever! And did you taste that Salty Dog?” Yes, for that is what the gods had called the waters which they offered those of mortal man, after their slogan atop Q-14, which says “If you like doggie, you’ll love Salty Dog!”
But as time passed, legend has become myth, and since mere mortals could not remember the slogan of the gods, the name of the waters given to men on the mountain Q-14 in what they perceived was only a dream have been forgotten, so that the waters themselves are now called Q-14! (Which is fine by me!) So all I have to say is thank the gods for the Q-14!
