I believe I can fly…Oops, maybe not!

I guess it had to happen sooner or later… My first real post!
The only reason that I am posting this is because, well, I was there!
I have finally gotten my first cast.
It was an overcast day and the first thing I would have thought was that it was “a good day to paint!” Of course had I been Nelson Wright the phrase would have been a little bit bleaker, something along the lines of “A good day to die!”
Any way, There I was standing on the roof of the first floor painting the gables of the second floor above me, when all of a sudden the floor withdraws, at least withdraws from where I think it should be. Needless to say when there is no substance beneath your feet it’s hard to continue painting, in fact I’ve just found that it’s even hard to stand.
And since I’m still new at the whole levitation thing, and to make a long story short, I fell!
I did not however die (Take that Nelson!) What has happened is that I now have a cast on my right foot, since I tore the tendon on my heel, I will also be hobbling around on crutches for the next two weeks. So I will be bracing myself for the usual names, such as Tommy the little cripple boy, Timmyyyyyy, Tiny Tim and yes even Chester.
All that to say, all my beliefs that I could fly have since been shredded (along with my tendon.)
P.S. I don’t want anyone to think that I am taking this lightly. I do acknowledge that it was nothing short of a miracle that I didn’t get seriously injured and that the Lord was really keeping me safe. Well, He sure knows how to get through to us, or at least me!
May God bless us all, every one!
